Hours past mid-night, Mathews heard some suspicious sound from the kitchen. He sneaked out of the bedroom and tip-toed towards the kitchen but he couldn't find anything wrong there. He went back to bed and got up early to check the place well. After few minutes' search he found out a nest and a squab (young one of a pigeon/dove) on a slab right below the roof. The mother dove used to commute through the kitchen window all these days. The Clement family had no clue about this additional family staying in their house for weeks. We were so thrilled to share the news with them! So, in Clement's house we were not alone, we ofcourse had a special host!

A peaceful host!
This is not an incident but a surprise. Last time when we went to Chennai we stayed in Mathews' friend Clement's place. The stay was really interesting as the host and family got stuck with their relatives at the other end of the city. So me and my hubby received the keys from a reliable person and were having fun playing the hosts for ourselves. we explored their refrigerator and made dinner, watched TV and went to bed. Yea, ofcourse we made sure the doors are locked, switches are off and gas cylinder too was turned off, very responsible guests you know!
