I love Chennai for many reasons and one is ofcourse for the famous 'panthean street' in Egmore. You'll see lovely cotton materials all over the place and you feel like buying every piece of fabric flaunting there. Infact who wouldn't be, that too when you get it for cheaper rates. So, i always make sure to include the panthean street in our itinerary. I'm lucky to make frequent trips to Chennai as it is just 6 hours' drive from Bangalore. I wouldn't have travelled to my home town that often.
